Decipher the Media #14 Revisits the Wisdom of Indie Filmmakers

Decipher the Media Podcast #14:

I hope you are all doing well as we move into the month of November. I wanted to revisit some older episodes of the podcast that I didn’t get to publish and promote as much. Please enjoy this wonderful group of filmmakers as we sit down a talk about the process of developing films.

Episode Description:

On this episode of the Decipher the Media Podcast, I revisit some older interviews in earlier episodes, pulling highlights and collecting them into a reel of great advice for anyone in the filmmaking community. In this highlight reel, you will find stories and wisdom from fantastic filmmakers that I had the opportunity to work with on the feature film, Body Farm. This includes words from actor and producer Brandon Keenan, actor and producer Nick LaMantia, assistant director Kevin Hejna, gaffer Tim Roberts, actress Gena Weiss, and sound mixer Dave Majcher. The featured cast and crew talk about their roles on set, work in filmmaking, and what they’ve learned from their experiences.

Author: Steven E. Croner

Hey, everyone. How are you? I’m doing pretty well. My name is Steven. I’ve been living in Pittsburgh for a few years now. What sort of projects have I been working on, you ask? Well, I’ve assisted with several indie film productions in that time, mostly directly behind the camera or working with camera operations. It has been pretty fun. I’ve also been working on several other projects individually. This website is a collection of those projects that I do on in my spare time. Please click on the links above to learn about some of the work that I do in digital media and writing. I hope you enjoy my collection, which is a combination of old, archived work and new content I am compelled to share with you. Please feel free to interact, engage, and help me make some friends and colleagues in the creative media communities!
